Le Ware Steam Carriage fut la premi\u00e8re automobile export\u00e9e des \u00c9tats-Unis. Peu apr\u00e8s, le cur\u00e9 Belcourt acheta le v\u00e9hicule \u00e0 vapeur. Le v\u00e9hicule fut envoy\u00e9 \u00e0 Charlottetown, puis amen\u00e9 \u00e0 Rustico par une \u00e9quipe de chevaux. Le nouveau v\u00e9hicule \u00e0 une place du cur\u00e9 Belcourt \u00e9tait propuls\u00e9 par un engin \u00e0 vapeur \u00e0 deux cylindres. La chambre \u00e0 vapeur faisait 1,2 m\u00e8tre de haut et le moteur \u00e9tait reli\u00e9 aux essieux par des cha\u00eenes. M\u00eame s\u2019il \u00e9tait un v\u00e9hicule simple sans suspension, sans pare-brise et sans capote, le chariot \u00e0 vapeur \u00e9tait une grande merveille \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-xl-margin-bottom wp-block-paragraph\">Paru dans le Charlottetown Herald le 19\u00a0d\u00e9cembre 1866\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0<em>Un chariot \u00e0 vapeur \u00e0 une place a travers\u00e9 la ville en route vers son nouveau propri\u00e9taire, le r\u00e9v\u00e9rend p\u00e8re Belcourt de Rustico. Lorsque nous avons aper\u00e7u le chariot, il \u00e9tait tir\u00e9 par des chevaux, mais il est \u00e9quip\u00e9 d\u2019un engin \u00e0 vapeur et il peut \u00eatre propuls\u00e9 par la vapeur. Belcourt, le cur\u00e9 de Rustico de 1859 \u00e0 1969. Je me rappelle d\u2019avoir vu le chariot \u00e0 vapeur conduit par le P\u00e8re Belcourt. C\u2019\u00e9tait autour de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 1866.
