St. Augustine’s Parish Church
St. Augustine’s Parish Church is the oldest Roman Catholic Church on Prince Edward Island. Construction began in the spring of 1838 and the first service was held on Christmas Eve the same year. Adjacent to the church is the Parochial house which dates back to the 1830’s. The church has an active congregation and is open to the public daily. Admission by donation. (image.
